One of the largest philanthropies in the Southeast, Blank Foundation has made grants of nearly $300 million since its inception. Under her leadership, The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation created and funded the groundbreaking Audience Building Roundtable which has assembled and developed best practices for attracting and retaining new audiences for the arts. Penny joined the Foundation in 2004 after serving as the Vice President and Chief Program Officer at the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation in Miami.

Terri is director of the Audience Building Roundtable at The Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation in Atlanta. She has more than 30 years of executive leadership experience in the nonprofit sector and has led the Blank Foundation’s efforts to build audiences for Atlanta’s arts organizations.


Paul has led the Springer for more than three decades. During his tenure, audiences have tripled and the Springer has instituted popular programs like Springer Theatricals and the Springer Theatre Academy. In addition to being a veteran stage director, he is also a playwright, actor and musician. Paul is the former associate artistic director of the Repertory Theatre of America, the former artistic director of the Harbor Playhouse in Corpus Christi, Texas, and the former managing director of the Wayside Theatre in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. He holds a bachelor of fine arts degree in drama and theatre from the University of Georgia.
